iPhone Versus The Rest Of The World

I find myself looking at these other phones intended to compete with the iPhone like the HTC Touch, HTC Touch Dual, HTC Touch Cruise, the new HTC Touch Pro, and the Samsung Instinct. Even though I can’t help being attracted to all of their designs and cool factors, I logically keep coming back to the user interface. When I used the HTC Touch, I was disgusted by its Windows platform. I can’t imagine any of the other HTC Touch products being better. I haven’t used the Samsung Instinct, so I can’t judge its interface yet. But I will say that side by side the iPhone has a much bigger screen for that interface. This IS a major selling point for the iPhone yet again. I can say that the iPhone interface is the only interface I’ve felt was so intuitive and so much an extention of my capabilities. I don’t have to jump through hoops to operate it, which makes it powerful in its simplicity. These other companies will have to try a lot harder to convince me their iPhone knockoff is better than the real thing.
