Formula One To Go Green

Max Mosley has announced that Formula One is to introduce rules forcing teams to use KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) as a means of increasing power.  Currently, development on engines is frozen. 

This means that in order to maintain competetive equality, teams will have to turn their race cars into hybrids.  This is the first phase, as teams will also be forced to research other means of acheiving higher energy efficiency.

I think this is awesome.
