2008 Green Car of the Year

I cannot believe a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid was voted Green Car of the Year for 2008.  I mean, it gets 21mpg city.  My car gets closer to 25mpg city, and it’s a sporty 2 door coupe.  Don’t get me wrong, for an SUV it’s quite amazing.  But just recently BMW announced that they’ve made their biggest SAV, the X5,  into a hybrid that gets 43.5mpg.  

Take that.
