Email to the Renault F1 Team

Dir Sir or Madam (hopefully Fernando himself),

I am emailing to encourage and support Fernando Alonso in speaking out against the appalling racist behavior directed towards Lewis Hamilton during testing in Barcelona.

Forget Formula 1.  Forget racing.  Forget automobiles.  Racism is bigger than all of these things.  Racism has been around longer than automotive racing and will continue to be around long after automotive racing.  As long as we believe racism is cruel and intolerable, we must fight against it. 

Renault employs a Spaniard, which puts you in a position of great power in speaking out against racism.  Any lack of action would be a huge disappointment and challenges society’s opinion of Renault’s moral and ethical position toward the matter (Racism) and all matters.
